Lady’s Slipper Hybrid ‘HILDA’ — Bloom Time: June/July, zone dependent. Hilda is an absolutely stunning hybrid which is the product of a cross between the Kentucky Lady’s Slipper and an Asian species Cypripedium macranthos var. ventricosum. Mature plants approach the height of the Kentucky Lady’s Slipper with flowers as large or if not larger. Flowers come in color variations with a mixture of shades of yellow ranging from very pale to a rich buttery tones and a variety of shades of red ranging from burgundy to almost purple.
