Bletilla striata - Hardy Chinese Orchid –Yellow & White - Full sun to partial shade and moderate moisture. As the common name implies, the Bletilla species are native to China and other northern countries of Asia. The flower stalk of these species can have as many as 20 flowers. The individual flowers measure as much as 2 inches from tip to tip. These plants are probably the easiest to cultivate and are easily adapted into most garden settings.
