#113. Bletilla striata - Rose/Lavender flowers
Hardy Chinese Orchid– Bletilla striata – Bloom Time: Spring.  Bletilla striata can be grown almost anywhere but does best in full sun to partial shade and in sandy soil with moderate moisture.  Make large clumps within a few years with flowering spikes up to 24" and as many as 10- 15 flowers per spike.   Flowering size tubers.  Best planted in the Spring.    Hardiness Zone 6 – 10. Fall sales zones 7 - 10 ONLY.
